Pop-Up Galleries
Kfest utilizes unoccupied spaces within the town of Killorglin by re-appropriating these vacant retail outlets, domestic homes or deserted buildings as bespoke pop-up galleries.
The transformation of over 20+ vacant buildings housing over 120 visual artists across all disciplines of fine art and design is in itself a staggering work of socially engaged art.
Local, national and International artists act as temporary resuscitators, breathing new life into the numerous unique and quirky locations Killorglin has to offer. This year check out our special CURATED SPACES by invited artists and our 2014 SCREAMING POPE PRIZE Gallery.
Look out for the Orange gallery flags all over town.
